Our process

Frequently Asked Questions about our process

We realise that working with a company like ours could be a new experience for many businesses or organisations in Vietnam. We also understand that businesses, quite rightly, are concerned about costs. So we’ve put together these FAQs around our process to put you at ease.

The most important take-away is that we have a clear process (meeting, proposal, agreement, delivery) so you are always in control of your spend at every step of the way.

What can I expect in the first instance?

When you are considering working with Delicious Consulting, we will arrange a  meeting with you (either face-to-face or online) to discuss what you want to achieve, and your overall aims and objectives.

We will ask you lots of questions, and this will allow us to write a proposal that outlines what was discussed and how we propose to help you.

This proposal is provided to you free of charge. You can either proceed as per the proposal, or not. Entirely up to you.

Do you charge for meetings?

Unfortunately, we have to charge for initial briefing meetings because there are too many tyre-kickers out there.  If we charge a meeting fee, we can work out who is serious — and also eliminate unnecessary meetings that don’t have outcomes.

If you sign with us, initial meeting fees will be deducted from your first invoice.

What happens if I like your proposal?

If you like the proposal and want to proceed, you will need to sign a service agreement and a statement of work, and pay a non-refundable deposit (don’t worry, it’s not huge).

Once the service agreement has been signed and the non-refundable deposit paid, we will start work. We guarantee that you will not pay more than has been detailed in the proposal and the agreement. No nasty surprises.

What are options for fees?

If you are worried about the cost of working with us, there are several ways to control your budget, including:

  • A retainer, where you pay a fixed amount per month to deliver on a plan
  • Pick and choose from a  “menu” of fixed price items that are aligned to a plan
  • Per word (for writing and editing services)
  • Packages of services
  • Project-based
  • Profit-sharing.

Are your fees negotiable?

No. Despite our company name and the association with food, we are not a wet market. Bargaining for the lowest price is demeaning for us both.

What happens if I don’t have any plans in place yet?

If you have no plans and no intentions of doing any planning, then we are not the company for you. If you are developing plans, or would like us to help you with your plans, we can talk.
